Los Angeles, CA — July 28, 2026 — Nexys, a leading provider of AI-powered lending technology for private lenders, today announced the appointment of Jasen Portero as President & Chief Executive Officer and Nathan Goodhart as Chief Revenue Officer.
These appointments mark an exciting new chapter for Nexys as the company continues expanding its platform for private lenders, mortgage lenders, brokers, and capital providers. Together, Portero and Goodhart bring decades of combined experience across lending, financial technology, operations, and revenue growth, positioning Nexys to further its mission of modernizing the lending industry through intelligent automation and artificial intelligence.
“As the lending industry continues to evolve, Nexys is committed to delivering innovative technology that enables our customers to operate more efficiently, close loans faster, and scale with confidence,” said Kirk Ayzenberg, Founder and Chairman of Nexys. “Jasen and Nathan are exceptional leaders who share our vision for transforming the future of private lending. Their combined expertise makes them the ideal team to lead Nexys through its next phase of growth.”
About Jasen Portero, President & Chief Executive Officer
Jasen is the President and CEO of Nexys, LLC, a mortgage technology company serving private lenders nationwide. With 17 years of experience spanning both the lending and technology sides of the industry, he brings a rare operator’s perspective to building software that works the way lenders expect it to. With speed and accuracy.
Under his leadership, Nexys delivers modern loan origination and servicing solutions purpose-built for bridge, fix-and-flip, DSCR, and ground-up construction lending. His focus is on helping originators streamline operations, accelerate closings, and scale efficiently without adding headcount or complexity.
Before joining Nexys, Jasen served as both COO and CTO at a leading lending technology company, where he oversaw operations and product development and gained a firsthand understanding of the challenges private lenders face, from draw management and rehab holdbacks to servicing and investor reporting. That dual operating and technical background shapes his approach: technology should remove friction, not create it.
Jasen is passionate about the private lending community and committed to advancing the tools and standards that help the industry grow.
“I am honored to lead Nexys during such an exciting time for both our company and the lending industry,” said Portero. “We are building technology that empowers lenders to work smarter, automate complex processes, and deliver a better experience for their borrowers and business partners.”
