NPLA Scottsdale 2026: Capital Is Back on the Table, and So Is Discipline

Some conferences are known for their stage. Others, for their hallways. The NPLA Conference has always delivered both. NPLA Scottsdale 2026, held October 25 to 27 at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, put some of private lending’s most influential voices on one stage, in a full general-session day focused on the questions lenders are wrestling with right now: where liquidity is coming from, where growth is going, who is buying whom, and how to keep a portfolio clean as the credit cycle shifts. And as always, the conversations kept going well beyond the stage, at the coffee station, across the sponsor hall, and over cocktails, where many deals start long before they reach a term sheet.
The week started where a lot of private lending business really gets done: on the golf course. The NPLA Golf Tournament on Sunday, a shotgun modified scramble at TPC Scottsdale’s Stadium Course, sent players out to compete for the conference’s blue jackets.
